The uTorrent program is a popular BitTorrent application used to download and share content online using torrents. A torrent works by sharing pieces of a file between connected peers until the whole file is downloaded. Along with the ability to download torrents, uTorrent also allows you to search the Internet using its unique search engine. Searching the Internet using uTorrent is simple, requiring only an Internet connection and a web browser, two things you likely have already if you're running uTorrent.

Open uTorrent.
2Click the "Search Here" box at the top-right corner of the uTorrent window.
3Type your search query into the search box and either press the "Enter" key or click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the search box.
4Wait as your default web browser opens to display the uTorrent Search results.
5Click "Web," "Images" or "Videos" above the search box in your web browser to adjust the displayed results. Switch between results regarding torrents and traditional web results by clicking either "Torrents" or "Web Results" next to the "Show" section below the search bar.
