How to Bing ( get, search, find, use)

Microsoft has created a new search engine called "Bing". It's a direct competitor to Yahoo and Google search engines, and very simple to use.

Here's what you need to do to get Bing, set it up, and use it.

I'll explain some simple things about it to get you started.

Instructions

    1

    Get Bing:

You actually don't need to do anything to get Bing, there's nothing to download or install. You simply need to type "bing.com" into your browser and it will come up like any other website.

    2

    Search key words on Bing:

Just like searching on the other search engines, type in key words that you are looking for. However, there are ways to improve your search results. For example: using "or" or "not" will define your search results more clearly. Using quotation marks ("") will key an exact phrase and focus the results better.

    3

    Search news feeds on Bing:

Click the header titled "News". Then type the news event you are looking for, such as "presidential election", "super bowl" or "music awards winners".

    4

    Use the home page images:

Bing has an innovative and interesting home page, where you can highlight various parts of the home page image at www.bing.com and interesting factoids appear.

You can preview the previous days images as well and you'll see world class images with interesting facts. Just move the mouse over the images and they will pop up.
