How to Reinstall the Netzero Toolbar

NetZero is a dial-up Internet Service Provider that includes a toolbar called the ZeroBar, which is an add-on for Internet Explorer. The ZeroBar enables users to check their NetZero mail, get technical support and search the Internet. If you experience a problem with the software, you can reinstall the ZeroBar.

Instructions

Navigate to the NetZero Download/Order page. Click the blue "Click Here" link under "Download NetZero Software."

Enter your NetZero user name and password to log in.

Click the "Download Now" link under "NetZero Internet Software." Save the file to the desktop.

Double-click "NetZeroHSSetup.exe" when the download is finished. The NetZero setup wizard appears. Click "Next."

Click the "Enable Free NetZero Toolbar" check box, and then click "Next." The setup utility re-copies the NetZero software over the existing files on the computer.

Enter your NetZero user ID and password, and then click "Next."

Click a radio button to indicate whether you use your dial-up modem or another Internet connection to utilize NetZero services. Click "Continue."

Enter your telephone number, then click "Continue."

Choose a dial-up access number from the list, and then click "Continue."

Click the "Connect" button to resume using your NetZero services.
