How to Locate the Maxis Phone Directory

Maxis is a Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM) cellular service provider that operates in Malaysia. Maxis cellular phones feature a built-in directory service that you can access from the phone's main menu. This service allows you to find nearby businesses and services listed in specified categories. The directory updates businesses that match your search query based on the current location of the phone.

Select "Easy Access" from your Maxis phone's main menu.

Select the category for the business or service you want to find. Available categories include hotels, restaurants, embassies and tourist offices.

Enter the keywords within the category for the business or service you want to find. This step is optional but will narrow your search results. For example, if you selected the restaurant category, you could type "Italian" to display a list of Italian restaurants in the area.

Scroll through the results to find contact information for business and services that matches your search query. Select the business to display the contact information from the directory.
